Luba Gurdus Artwork

Luba Krugman Gurdus is a talented artist, poet, and author who has written extensively about her experiences at the Majdanek Concentration Camp, most notably in her book, The Death Train.

These stark, expressive drawings, and facsimiles from the portfolio They Didn’t Live to See, are combined with selections from her Painful Echoes: Poems of The Holocaust to create a powerful expression of tragedy and courage.
