About the Panelists
Award-winning filmmaker Cellin Gluck was born in Wakayama, Japan to American parents — a Jewish New Yorker father and a Japanese-American mother from California (via wartime “relocation” in Rohwer, AK). Believing that his greatest asset is his multicultural upbringing, Cellin knows that his own “composition” gives him an innate sensibility for things both Eastern and Western — allowing him to bridge cultures visually, viscerally, artistically and emotionally.
Dr. Mordecai Paldiel headed the Righteous Among the Nations Department at Yad Vashem from 1982-2007.
