FC Bayern’s Venerated-Persecuted-Forgotten exhibition shares the stories of nine club players and officials who were affected by National Socialism in Germany, including the remarkable story of former president, Kurt Landauer who received a visa to go to New York and rebuild his life, but instead he chose to move back to Munich to rebuild the club he loved.
The exhibition aims to:
– Raise awareness of FC Bayern’s history and members who were influential in building the foundations of the club
– Highlight the power of soccer, which can make a positive difference to communities
– Help educate young people about the importance of social inclusion
