Professional Development

Florida’s education statutes requires all school districts to incorporate lessons on the Holocaust as part of public school instruction. This mandate identifies both rationales and strategies for achieving Holocaust literacy. By focusing on key elements, the Task Force has created specific recommendations for the scope, content, and outcomes for Holocaust education in Florida schools.. The Holocaust Center provides a number of opportunities for educators to earn professional development (in-service) credits while gaining the information and skills necessary for effective teaching of the Holocaust

Research Tools

The Holocaust Center is dedicated to providing our patrons with the most accurate and up-to-date information on Holocaust history. Our research tools are a compilation of resources that can be utilized by teachers, students, and the general public to learn more about the Holocaust.
